Join this ambitious food business, as the Head of Sales, delivering the sales and team strategy for B2B sales channel. Hands-on management role with close customer engagement.
This is a Head of Sales role managing all sales within the Manufacturing channel – you may call it B2B. These manufacturing customers primarily produce products for the Retail sector with a small % of products going into Foodservice.
The things that will be important to you are:
1. Culture fit – this business has an honest, open, warm, and friendly team environment. This starts at the top with the CEO and will be very apparent in the interview process. Yes, they work hard and at pace but they support each other and do everything with the upmost integrity
2. Hybrid working – this role will be based at site in Lincolnshire two days a week and three days off site either WFH or out with customers.
3. Ambition & growth – the company are an entrepreneurial business with a clear strategy for growth and have made a number of great new hires to bring the ambition to life
4. Products – innovative range of ingredients, sauces, and marinades
5. The role – managing a small team of Business Development and Account Management, this will also be a hands-on customer role that requires a player manager who still loves working with customers but also leading and developing others to get the best out of the team
The requirement for this role is pretty straight forward….you will:
6. Have experience of sales and leadership for a food or ingredients business managing B2B customers
7. Be results orientated and competitive spirit to win and achieve
8. Be able to inspire and motivate the team to deliver the plan
