Our client, a reputable company in the building control sector, is currently seeking a Remote Plan Checker to join their team. This position will be focused on residential projects and offers flexibility in terms of both full-time and part-time roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting detailed plan checks of domestic schemes
Ensuring compliance with building control regulations and standards
Providing expert advice and support to clients regarding building control matters
Preparing comprehensive reports and recommendations based on plan checks
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Maintaining accurate records of all plan checks and any relevant correspondence
Being available for remote consultation and support as needed
Job Requirements:
Experience in building control with a focus on plan checking
Strong knowledge of building regulations and standards
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in preparing detailed reports
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams
Flexibility in terms of working hours and BSR grade
