We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Group AI Governance Senior Analyst.
In this role, you will:

Governance Strategy Development:
Design and implement governance strategies to support the approval and risk management of AI use cases across HSBC.

Approval Process Coordination:
Facilitate the end:to:end approval process, working closely with risk stewards, business units, and technical teams to ensure timely evaluations.

Risk Assessment and Compliance:
Identify, assess, and manage potential risks in AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with HSBC's risk management policies and governance standards.

Process Optimization:
Continuously improve governance frameworks and approval processes to enhance efficiency and reduce time:to:market for AI projects.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with cross:functional teams, including compliance, legal, and technology, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency around AI governance.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Governance and Risk Management Skills:
Proven ability to design and manage governance frameworks and conduct risk assessments, especially within complex organisational structures.

AI/ML Knowledge:
A strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning technologies, along with knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, Data Sharing, and CCPA within the financial sector.

Analytical and Problem:Solving Abilities:
Exceptional analytical skills with the capability to evaluate complex AI:related risks and deliver actionable solutions.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Strong ability to articulate governance processes clearly and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Project and Process Management Expertise:
Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and optimising processes to drive efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
