Required from September 2025 - a teacher of science with any specialism. You will be a member of the curriculum area of science at Coombeshead Academy, an 11-18 school which forms part of Education South West.

The additional responsibility of the Deputy Team Leader role focuses on assisting in the leading and managing of the science team with the effective delivery of science at key stages 3-5.
Key responsibilities (in addition to the responsibilities of a teaching role) are:
11. Assisting the CTL in managing and developing the teams across key stages.
12. Playing an integral role in driving progress across the curriculum.
13. Working with the CTL to ensure a rigorous QA process is in place across key stages.
14. Facilitating professional development opportunities for the team.
15. Assisting the CTL in developing departmental policies.
16. Other duties as required.
