Our client, a reputable local government organization, is currently seeking a Highway Inspector to join their team in the Oxfordshire area. As a Highway Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of road infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of highways to identify any defects or hazards
Assess the condition of roads, footpaths, and cycleways
Record and report any issues found, including potholes, damaged signage, or obstructions
Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to carry out necessary repairs and maintenance
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Conduct investigations into road traffic accidents, collect evidence, and report findings
Monitor construction and maintenance activities to ensure they adhere to approved plans and specifications
Maintain accurate records and documentation regarding inspections, maintenance work, and incidents
£30-32 per hour - Candidate Experience
Inside IR35
Monday - Friday 5 days per week
Start ASAP
37 Hours per week
Weekly Pay - Every Friday
