Here at PPL PRS, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team to lead, plan, and successfully deliver complex large-scale projects from our road map.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, allowing you to benefit from the balance of working three days a week from our modern office space and two days a week working from home.
Key Responsibilities
* Project and Programme management across a portfolio of business-aligned initiatives, including chairing and running project board sessions for the assessment of new proposals, updates on active projects, and closure/benefits realisation reviews.
* Manage project delivery activities, typically involving the development and implementation of business solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem to meet identified business needs, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.
* Lead the planning, support, and successful delivery of small to large-scale projects from our business road map.
* Lead the initiation and completion of business case documentation for projects in conjunction with business sponsors to ensure successful and sustainable projects with clearly defined and achievable business benefits.
* Support the development of documentation and governance processes related to project management.
* Analyse and translate requirements into deliverable user stories, facilitating backlog prioritisation and delivery on behalf of business sponsors.
* Deliver projects using our business's Project Lifecycle, working closely with the senior leadership team to input into and improve our processes.
* Evaluate and monitor projects delivered to ensure that business benefits are achieved, and results are clearly documented and communicated.
* Ensure realistic estimates of costs, timescales, and resource requirements are agreed and monitor projects against these criteria, taking corrective action as necessary.
* Track and manage project requests, costs, benefits, and resources.
* Support business teams in documenting requirements and planning business changes.
* Project manage, from a “Product Owner” perspective, allocated projects from our business roadmap.
* Work alongside stakeholders and the finance team to ensure business cases for projects are defined and planned business benefits are documented for all projects on the business roadmap.
* Define project scope and goals, completing project initiation documents for sponsor sign-off.
* Identify required resources and manage this across the delivery of projects.
* Ensure risks and issues are identified and managed, owning escalation where required.
* Ensure project plans are defined, maintained, and shared with project teams.
* Act as “Product Owner” to lead and guide project delivery teams where appropriate.
* Manage project budgets, where appropriate.
* Track project performance and provide required reporting on delivery.
* Support implementation of projects, including change management activities to ensure projects embed into our business.
* Support wider business teams in understanding the impact, documenting requirements, and planning the delivery of enhancement/minor technology changes.
* Ensure the Licensing Operating Guidelines are updated to reflect new ways of working within the quarterly update cycle.
Qualifications & Experience
* Excellent leadership skills and proven ability to build relationships with both executive level and shareholder stakeholders.
* At least 2 years of working experience in a project management role essential.
* Proven experience of managing and delivering successful complex large-scale projects.
* Project Management certification – PRINCE2, PMP, or similar.
* Experience in Agile Project Management.
* Experienced in the use of collaboration tools e.g., Teams, Confluence, Jira, etc.
* Working knowledge of a project management tool or software.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in managing a project budget – forecasting costs, tracking actuals, forecasting product revenue, or operational savings.
* Able to construct and deliver presentations, presenting options and clear recommendations to a high standard to senior and executive management.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, with PowerPoint knowledge essential.
* Experience of coaching and supporting Project Leaders through their projects.
* Must be organised and able to manage own priorities and workload.
* Experience in collating and distributing progress reporting to senior stakeholders.
