What your typical day looks like:
1. Provide autonomous, advanced clinical care.
2. Assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients effectively.
3. Conduct and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations.
4. Initiate specialist referrals where appropriate.
5. Maintain high-quality clinical records in line with best practice.
6. Stay up to date with developments in clinical practice.
7. Work within professional regulatory guidelines and scope of practice.
To be a successful Advanced Practitioner you'll need:
1. Professional Registration: NMC, HCPC, or GPhC.
2. Independent Prescriber: Registered as a non-medical prescriber.
3. Education: Minimum of two Level 7 modules, including clinical assessment skills.
4. Experience: Autonomous practice in multi-professional teams.
5. Strong clinical decision-making and assessment skills.
