We are currently recruiting for our family owned and managed client in Grantham who are seeking an enthusiastic Office Administrator to join their award-winning team.
This is a fast-paced and varied role, offering the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the business. You will be a key point of contact, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities for the Office Administrator:
Frontline Customer Service:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, handling inquiries.
2. Process telephone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments.
3. Provide professional reception duties, creating a welcoming and positive environment.
Administrative Support:
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Directors and Senior Management team, including preparing and typing correspondence.
2. Manage correspondence via phone, email, and post, including distribution and dispatch.
3. Maintain and manage office stationery and supplies, ensuring accurate records and timely replenishment.
4. Frank all outgoing mail and deliver to the local post office when needed.
5. Assist the sales, aftersales, and service teams with general administrative duties, including data processing, packing orders, and arranging deliveries.
6. Provide HR admin support as required.
7. Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion at all times.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Strong organisational and time management abilities.
3. Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
5. A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
6. Ability to work well within a team.
7. Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
