The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high-quality service to customers of Your Trust from diverse and hard-to-reach communities. This includes consulting, planning, developing, and delivering a wide range of outreach work and activities across the Borough, targeted to communities from diverse and hard-to-reach communities. You will work with colleagues across Your Trust to address the barriers to participation and link the inclusion activities with other physical and creative programmes, supporting the wider Your Trust work around health and inclusion, ensuring all activities meet and contribute to the requirements of the funding whilst being safe and fun.
Minimum Requirements:
* Hold a Level 2 Community Sports Leader Award or demonstrate commitment and ability to achieve within 6 months
* Experience of supporting or advising projects related to health, wellbeing or leisure with diverse communities
* Experience of developing and maintaining partnerships with community or voluntary groups particularly linked to disabilities and diverse communities
* Friendly, outgoing person who can adapt their approach for different audiences, working with different groups and ages
* Knowledge of EDI focused barriers to participation, and ways to overcome these
* Must be proactive, enthusiastic, able to use own initiative and work flexibly to deliver the service and as part of a Team
* Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
