As part of their strategic growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Lawyer to join their expanding team as a Senior Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, advising a diverse range of clients on complex commercial issues. Key Responsibilities: Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Advise clients on a range of commercial issues, including high-value and complex contracts. Draft and negotiate procurement contracts, agency and distribution agreements, IT contracts, outsourcing agreements, general terms and conditions (B2B and B2C), data protection, intellectual property, and commercial due diligence. Client Relationship Management: Maintain and develop existing and new clients through planned relationship management. Engage in marketing events, write articles, and participate in seminars to promote the firm's services. Record and Case Management: Manage and maintain effective records of all work undertaken, including time spent. Adhere to the firm’s policy on billing, file procedures, and case management. Presentations and Networking: Participate in internal and external presentations. Actively attend networking events and engage with relevant industry bodies to expand the firm's network. Team Collaboration: Liaise and attend meetings with the team and the firm to perform duties and aid individual and organisational development. Innovation and Know-How: Develop ideas and create uses for know-how and innovation within the firm Professional Development: Undertake personal and professional development. Support the promotion of the team and the firm generally. Desired Skills and Experience: Ideally, 4 years PQE in commercial law (negotiable depending on experience/portfolio. Experience in advising on tenders and supply chain is advantageous. Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills. Strong client relationship management skills. Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain accurate records. Proactive approach to personal and professional development. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
