We are partnering with an award-winning North East firm, as they look for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role is based full-time at their Gateshead office, supporting senior leadership with day-to-day financial activities. Salary will be dependent on experience, up to £36,000 per annum.
At least two years experience in a similar role is essential to be considered for this position.
Key Duties:
- Sales ledger and debt management
- Invoice processing
- Payroll administration
- Bookkeeping
- Assist with cost management and financial forecasting
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders daily
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
Personal Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years experience in a similar role
- Have obtained or be studying towards AAT Qualification
- Basic knowledge of Bookkeeping and Cost Management
- Use of Xero is preferred (not essential)
- Strong communication, organisation and a drive to continuously improve
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week
