Job Purpose
* Preparation and finalisation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies
* Preparation of tax computations for the same portfolio
* Reviewing of VAT returns prepared by the client
* Leading audits for Limited companies
* Supervising and supporting junior staff, including review working and knowledge sharing across the team
* Nurturing client relationships by acting as their main point of contact
* Proactively handling queries and problem solving
* Championing your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities
* Working directly with the Manager to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met

The Successful Applicant
* ACA or ACCA qualified with previous experience in practice
* Experience leading audits from planning to completion
* Adept at the preparation of statutory accounts
* A proactive team player who can also work autonomously
* Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, and reliable
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties
* Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen
* A can-do, hands-on attitude
