Job Title: Chef at Chartwells
We’re currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a full time basis contracted to 30 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens our clients' and customers' days, all within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
2. Overseeing and implementing menu changes
3. Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
4. Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
5. Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
6. Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
7. Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
8. Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
9. Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations
Our Ideal Chef Manager will:
1. Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
2. Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
3. Have experience supervising a team
4. Have experience in a similar Chef role
5. Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
6. Have a flexible approach to working
