We are seeking a qualified experienced nurse to work within an integrated healthcare model.
The successful candidate will be an excellent team player who works closely with patients, the healthcare multidisciplinary team, and the prison service to ensure comprehensive and trauma-informed care is provided to patients.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will undertake various duties within the prison setting, including acting as a responder to emergencies, screening patients, triage, and working in partnership with other agencies to provide care.
Previous experience of working in a prison is especially desirable, but not essential. You will benefit from an extensive supernumerary period, access to a full range of training, and be encouraged to develop your skills within this role.

Knowledge & Experience
* RGN / RMN on the NMC register or Paramedic on the HCPC register
* Be educated to postgraduate degree level or have 18 months post-qualification experience
* Have experience of data collection, audits, and report writing
* Have experience and knowledge of working in a secure environment
* Have experience of managing groups of staff, dealing with staff issues, and managing performance, sickness, and conduct matters
Skills
* Have excellent written and oral communication skills, ensuring contemporaneous healthcare records are maintained
* Be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-level environment
* Actively participate in and support clinical audit and clinical governance systems at a local level, including the collection of data
