We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our fantastic General Radiography team at Withybush General Hospital. The Radiology department here at WGH has gratefully benefited from significant Welsh government investment over the last two years. Lots of the equipment is brand new with more planned replacement in the near future. We have a range of modalities including two CT scanners, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, General and A&E X-ray rooms, and Fluoroscopy. A small, but dynamic team, we offer great role extension opportunities as a Health Board with radiographers reporting on a range of studies including CT and Nuclear Medicine and other post-grad study.
Although this role is aimed at professionally registered individuals, candidates due to graduate from Radiography courses in Summer 2025 are encouraged to apply.
Working within the General X-ray area includes X-ray imaging of both scheduled outpatients and GP patients, minor injury, accident and emergency, and inpatients. Rotation through theatres and mobiles, fluoroscopy, and CT with potential to work within community sites including Tenby Cottage Hospital.
Participation within the out of hours on-call system would be mandatory.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
