• Provide administrative support to theBladder and Bowel (Continence)Service.
• Manage telephone callson an individual basis with service usersand deal sensitively and appropriatelyand take relevant action depending on the nature of the call.
• To inputpatientsorder details onto the continence service product databases andobserveconfidentialityin accordance withGDPR.
• To act as a link between staff,service usersand other service users by receiving and giving informed andaccurateinformation, whilstmaintainingpatient confidentiality.
• Provide general and product related advice and information toservice users,carersand clinical staff over the telephone.
• Arrange clinic appointments asappropriate.
• Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the patient and carers emotional needs.
• Tomaintainadequate supplies and equipment for the department, checking stock deliveries against delivery notes, reporting discrepancies / damages and follow up asappropriate.
