Job Role: Primary Teacher – Part-time (Wednesday – Friday)
Location: Oldham OL3
Salary: £31,650 - £43,606 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Start date: January 2025
This is an exciting opportunity to join an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ primary school for at least the remainder of the current academic year with the potential to be made permanent.
The school is a small village primary school in the Oldham area. The school community is warm, friendly and welcoming with supportive parents and children who enjoy coming to school. The staff are caring, committed and passionate about creating a school that is inclusive with high expectations for all.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join the hard working and successful team at the school. The job is for three days a week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, as a job share. The successful candidate will have a real commitment to achieving high standards for learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons to primary school students.
Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Plan work for the class following national, LEA, and school curriculum policies to provide a broad, balanced, and stimulating curriculum.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
Ability to plan work that is accessible to all learners.
Passion for inspiring and motivating young learners.
Effective communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents.
