The Role
As a Maintenance Technician (EC&I), you'll be responsible for:
1. Maintaining and repairing electrical, control, and instrumentation systems across the facility.
2. Performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance to ensure high operational availability.
3. Troubleshooting complex electrical and control system issues in a dynamic environment.
4. Working collaboratively within a dedicated team to drive performance and reliability.
5. Contributing to a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
6. Playing a key role in emergency response and on-call support for critical system maintenance.
What We're Looking For
1. NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven maintenance experience in a high-demand industrial environment (e.g. Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing).
3. Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, control systems, PLCs, and DCS (training provided if needed).
4. Ability to work with Low, Medium, and High Voltage switching equipment (training available).
5. A problem-solver who thrives on improving processes and optimising system performance.
6. A team player who can lead by example and support junior technicians.
