Job overview
The post holder will be the Consultant Psychiatrist to the Greenwich West Anxiety, Depression, Personality Disorders and Trauma Team (ADAPT) with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. This post has been covered temporarily for the past 3 years by the Associate Specialist in the team ‘acting up’.
The post holder will carry no responsibility for inpatients but will be part of the bed management strategy within the Community Mental Health (CMH) Directorate.
Main duties of the job
The ADAPT Pathway provides focused, therapeutic interventions to working age adults residing within the Greenwich Borough who require care and treatment for anxiety, depression, affective disorders (without psychosis), personality disorders and trauma. The service aims to be flexible and accessible, offering individuals choice and involvement regarding their treatment.
A personalised care plan will be devised in consultation with the service user and their Carer/family where appropriate.
