Working within a consultancy services team, this role is dedicated to supporting a client in the housing sector, ensuring procurement excellence and alignment with strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Implement and maintain a professional, customer-focused procurement service aligned with strategies, policies, and regulatory requirements. Drive the delivery of the procurement pipeline, ensuring compliance and alignment with strategic objectives. Oversee contract compliance with Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023. Develop and implement strategies to manage procurement risks and promote continuous improvement. Manage the centralised Contracts Register and procurement pipeline, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Lead or support commercial negotiations and strategic supplier relationships to maximize benefits and efficiencies. Collaborate with finance and other business units to support effective budget management and forward planning. Provide regular reports on procurement performance and impact. Key Skills/Experience: CIPS Level 4 or 5 qualification or equivalent experience. Solid knowledge of procurement legislation and public sector standards. Proven experience managing procurement projects and delivering quality improvements. Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills. Excellent time management, organisational, and project management abilities. Effective IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
