IFA Administrator - Hours: Part time – 21 hours over 3 days\nNottingham (Our ref AL1365) (home working 1 day per week can be considered)\nSalary: £15.00 per hour – 21 hours = £16,380 per annum (£27,300 full time equiv)\nIdeally, be available to work additional hours to provide holiday cover for up to 20 days per annum.\nMy client is an independent advisory practice, based in Nottingham and they are looking for an individual to join their small team on a part time basis, providing administrative support to the Financial Advisors.\nResponsibilities\n * New business processing, including:\n * Obtaining and completing application paperwork\n * Sending new business to providers\n * Submitting business on main investment Platform\n * Entering business onto back-office system\n * Managing and updating tasks on back-office system\n * Chasing business through to completion\n * Chasing fees\n * Processing ‘Letters of authority’, including:\n * Generating requests for information\n * Sending to providers\n * Managing and updating tasks on back-office system\n * Chasing providers for outstanding information\n * Inputting plan information on back-office system\n * Answering the telephone\n * Dealing with incoming post\n * Scanning and saving documents to back-office system\n * Client and Provider liaison\n * Generating recorded/special delivery post online & delivering to post office\n * Client research and preparation for adviser meetings with clients\n * General administration\nQualifications and capabilities\nEssential:\nPrevious IFA / Wealth Management administration experience\nExperience of using back-office systems\nExperience of using Platforms/Wraps\nKnowledge of Pensions and Investments\nBasic compliance knowledge and understanding of what makes a compliant file\nExcellent organisational and prioritising skills\nExcellent written and spoken communication skills\nGood computer literacy and typing skills\nComfortable following prescribed processes\nAble to work alone using own initiative\nPreferred but not essential:\nExperience of using Intelligent Office back-office system\nIndustry qualifications\nIf this role is of interest, please apply with an up to date CV.
