Management Accountant (Fixed-Term – 12 Months) Location: Holsworthy Contract: Fixed-Term – 12 Months Salary: up to £50,000 10% bonus after contract completion My client are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our team on a fixed-term 12-month contract. Reporting directly to the UK Financial Controller, with a dotted line to the Site Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring financial control, process improvement, and effective cashflow management. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and enhance financial systems, procedures, and controls to ensure efficiency and compliance. Manage and support the Finance & Administration function, leading a team of four. Cashflow management, including forecasting and approval of weekly payment runs and ad hoc payments, ensuring alignment with GEA Group policies. VAT Returns – Responsible for the calculation and reconciliation of quarterly VAT submissions. Ensure timely month-end reporting and full Balance Sheet reconciliation, with the support of the Finance Coordinator. Support the budget-setting process, ensuring accurate financial planning. Provide internal and external audit support, including evidence gathering and stakeholder liaison. Maintain car fleet records to support insurance and P11D requirements. Assist with payroll processes where required. Manage company fixed assets, including capital expenditure tracking. Work closely with the Accounts Admin Assistant to ensure the correct processing of purchase invoices and oversee aged creditor management. Collaborate with the Finance Coordinator to ensure the correct processing of sales invoices and manage aged debt provisions. Engage with business stakeholders to understand and manage stock level requirements. Ensure robust stock control systems and accurate stock valuations. Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Finance Professional (AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA). Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Highly organised, deadline-driven, and task-oriented. SAGE experience is desirable. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (essential), with experience using SUMIF, VLOOKUP, and PIVOT TABLES. A team player who is also self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
