As our Senior Marketing Manager, you will be the driving force behind the creation and execution of industry-leading corporate and high-value marketing campaigns. Your mission is to inspire more organisations and high-value donors to engage with and support the British Heart Foundation (BHF) in its life-changing, lifesaving work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Planning: Collaborate closely with BHF’s high-value income teams (Corporate Partnerships & Philanthropy) to develop and review mutually beneficial partnerships. Lead the strategy for all high-value marketing activities, ensuring they are insight-led and support BHF’s brand, audience, and communications strategies. Identify and capitalise on opportunities for continuous improvement.
2. Campaign Development/Management: Create compelling partnership marketing messaging and materials. Develop campaign briefs and manage the execution of key campaigns with strategic partners and high-value donors. Ensure all marketing materials adhere to BHF’s brand guidelines.
3. Navigating High-Value Relationships: Cultivate deep relationships with our strategic partners’ marketing teams and collaborate with them to design and deliver initiatives that propel our partnership goals. Ensure each campaign, activity, and channel is evaluated, and learnings are shared with relevant teams.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with various teams to integrate health and mission-led information for our partnerships. Drive integration and alignment across all customer touch points.
5. Agency Management: Take ownership of campaign management with agency partners, manage integrated ways of working, and ensure swift resolution of any issues.
6. Finance: Ensure campaigns meet financial targets, support budget management, and oversee the accurate processing of purchase orders and invoices.
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. About you
As our ideal candidate, you will bring significant experience as a Senior Marketing Manager, with a strong background in developing integrated, multi-channel campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences. You’ll have extensive expertise in product marketing, retention, and stewardship activities, along with a proven ability to deliver end-to-end marketing campaigns from strategy to evaluation.
Driven and solutions-focused, you possess strong influencing and negotiating skills, and your experience in partnership, corporate, or B2B marketing and targeting high-net-worth audiences sets you apart.
Thriving in cross-functional environments, you are an outstanding presenter with excellent organisational and communication skills who can create buy-in and drive projects forward despite conflicting agendas.
With a proven track record of leveraging data analysis and insights to craft exceptional marketing campaigns and identify continuous improvements, you can demonstrate successful project management and effective leadership of third parties, agencies, and diverse stakeholders.You'll have experience managing budgets, planning and monitoring expenses, and ensuring that creative and innovative marketing strategies meet financial targets.
You have experience managing brand campaigns and strategy, ensuring that all marketing materials align with our brand and partners' guidelines. Additionally, you’ll have a deep understanding and experience of delivering marketing activities through various channels and creative formats.
Your strategic mindset and keen eye for detail enable you to navigate complex marketing landscapes and deliver impactful results. This, combined with a passion for our cause, will help you excel in this role and have a significant impact on our mission.
