Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Wakefield, United Kingdom. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' daily lives, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
You will support clients with:
1. Personal care tasks
2. Medication
3. Meal preparation
4. Light housekeeping
5. Shopping
6. General companionship and wellbeing
7. Taking clients to medical appointments
Qualifications
8. Compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to help others
9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
10. Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and daily activities
11. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
12. Basic literacy and numeracy skills
13. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
14. Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
15. Previous experience in the care sector is desirable but not required, as full training will be provided
16. Willingness to undertake relevant qualifications in health and social care
17. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
18. Respect for client privacy and confidentiality
