ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY SBC is seeking a talented and creative Videographer to join our Video Team. Working with the Video Production team, you will play a crucial role in delivering consistent and impactful video content across SBC’s events and media networks. You’ll bring a solid understanding of the end-to-end creative process, from concept development to final delivery, and you thrive on generating fresh ideas. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing engaging and dynamic content for SBC’s digital platforms, including our websites and social channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and motion graphics, with the ability to create polished and visually compelling compositions for both short and long-form content. While the role requires the majority of your time to be spent in the office or on location, you’ll also have the flexibility to work from home as per our hybrid working policy. ABOUT YOU You must have: 3 years of experience in video production, with a proven track record of creating engaging content for brands in either in-house, agency, or freelance settings. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite. Strong editing skills with the ability to capture the desired tone and flow of a video. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects is essential; experience with Cinema 4D is a plus but not required. A strong understanding of brand systems, visual tone, and guidelines, ensuring consistency across all video content. A comprehensive knowledge of video equipment, lighting setups, and studio environments. A creative eye for capturing footage with the best use of lighting, styling, and composition techniques. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines. The ability to adapt and build upon SBC’s visual style and brand tone effectively. Strong coordination skills, enabling you to work with various stakeholders across multiple projects. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexibility and adaptability to respond quickly to changing business needs and priorities. The ability to maintain quality and accuracy without compromising on craft, even under time constraints. A solid understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations and requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality video content for SBC’s digital channels. Produce engaging videos for SBC’s social media platforms, digital advertisements, and websites. Develop and implement creative ideas that contribute to the growth and evolution of SBC’s video style. Design and execute motion graphics and animation projects that align with our brand identity and promotional goals. Develop and manage graphics templates for use within the team and with external partners. Stay up-to-date with emerging industry trends to enhance production value and innovation in our content. Collaborate on project pre-production tasks, including briefing, scripting, and storyboarding. Film interviews, live events, and internal videos, ensuring high production standards. Assist in maintaining and managing video equipment, offering recommendations for new purchases as needed. Develop motion graphics and animations that elevate the storytelling of our videos. Support Senior Videographers in refining content processes and workflows for the Video Team. Contribute to creative sessions, exploring and developing new video concepts.
