What it's like to work here Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you’ll be working alongside the Welcome and Service Assistants, Service Assistants, and an amazing group of volunteers. Our properties are full of life and locally loved, the Welcome Team are based flexibly across Attingham Park, Sunnycroft, Town Walls Tower and Cronkhill throughout the year. The Welcome Team are very enthusiastic about welcoming everyone and the excellent service our team provides plays a huge part in us fulfilling this goal. What you'll be doing From open to close, we are a 7 day a week operation, 364 days a year, you will be on hand in our Visitor Reception to answer queries and making sure visitors can find everything they need for their visit, to help with site coordination and to talk about conservation work and exciting programming and events for our visitors to enjoy. As the largest conservation charity in Europe, we work hard to raise funds to continue to care for our sites forever for everyone. Visitors are a vital part of what we do, so you’ll be responsible for ensuring that you provide an excellent service to all our visitors, every day. You will promote National Trust Memberships and actively talk to our visitors about how they can support our cause. There is plenty of opportunity to learn new skills This is an active role; you’ll deliver high standards of presentation at the property and ensure all our communications with our visitors are clear and consistent. You will help maintain site presentation through litter picks, ensuring signage is clean and presentable and maintaining the visitor reception tidiness and cleanliness through the day.
