The Account & Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing existing accounts, broadening our reach to new contacts and nurturing contacts into new accounts that can be managed. This will involve working on new sales channels, territories and establishing brand new relationships.

Role Overview
During an exciting period of growth at Excelothene Ltd, we are looking to hire an Account & Client Relationship Manager to join the existing Sales & Marketing Team.
Generating enquiries and leads and adding to their own portfolio of companies will be a significant part of the role. The chosen candidate will need to be self-motivated, hardworking, tenacious and adaptable with a dedicated and productive work ethic.
To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality and confidence in delivering outbound calls and handling inbound warm leads.
This role is ideal for someone who excels at relationship selling, has a warm and enthusiastic personality and the ability to talk to anyone. The candidate should be organised, effective with a positive outlook and an engaging personality.

Specific responsibilities
* Maintain regular contact with existing customers, monitoring order patterns and prompting customers to place orders when requirements are identified
* Plan annual sales budget for own accounts & monitor performance against expectation
* Specify suitable products to ensure excellent customer performance and prevent risk to Excelothene from packaging failure
* Ensure accurate records are maintained – including works orders, purchase orders, correct packing and labelling instructions. Sales communications are updated on Sage & Act
* Answer incoming sales calls in a professional and efficient manner
* Continuously prospect for potential new customers via outbound calling
* Assist accounts team with any customer credit/query related issues where required
Main elements of role
* Strong communication with customers, prospects, office & production teams – seeking advice/training in areas of difficulty, promote ideas that could improve operations
* Proactive contact with existing customers and potential new customers ensuring Excelothene has the opportunity to meet customer/prospect needs
* Liaison with office team on issues with product supply, quality or workplace environment.
* Fill out paperwork accurately – ensure Works Orders & Purchase Orders have all necessary correct & accurate information to meet customer performance requirements
* Carry out & record sample specification checks, retaining necessary samples for future reference
* Cover for office functions during staff absence as required
* Monitor customer volumes, ensuring we have accurate budgeting information to enable forward business targets to be set, advise Sales Directors of any significant customer gains/losses or volume increases/reductions
Authority
Commercial Pricing
The AM has authority to set customer pricing, provide quotations, and to seek pricing from suppliers as required.
Works/Purchase Orders
The AM has authority to raise P/O’s on Sage, placing orders with suppliers – ensuring supplier receipt & timely delivery of goods to the customer.
Quality Control
The AM has authority to quarantine any goods or manufactured product, seeking Management input on next step. The AM has authority to approve quality for existing customer products where a quality query may arise from the production team – seeking Management support as needed.

* Experience in Sales, Account Management, Marketing or a related field
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent telephone manner and confidence
* Proven track record in generating leads and opening doors to new business
* Excellent organisational skills

* Ability to flourish with minimal guidance and handle problem solving

* Good Housekeeping – keeping samples filed for reference, assisting in keeping office safe and tidy
* Record keeping – filling out works orders, purchase orders, data sheets and associated documents accurately
