About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with the UK’s #1 Baby Finger Food brand. We’re looking for an ambitious & talented National Account Manager who can bring our commercial strategy to life and develop strong relationships with our retail partners.
This role will report to the Senior National Account Manager and you will be a key member of the small Grocery team. You will be responsible for the accounts in full from annual customer plans, budget, through to execution in store.
* Full Management of Waitrose, Morrisons & Ocado on a day to day basis, to include budget planning, P&L, range review proposals, joint business plans, supporting with new line listings, delivering the promotional plan, working with supply chain on ensuring all ranged stores have stock, highlighting and addressing gaps, ensuring all products are correctly positioned and tagged online, forecasting, use of retailer systems and on-going promotional review.
* Overseeing the ongoing management and implementation of the overall Lotus Online Strategy across all grocery accounts working closely with the relevant Account Managers and supporting to enhance online performance
* Building solid relationships with key customer contacts across buying, supply chain, category & format teams
* Work cross functionally with our supply and operations teams to ensure all customer forecasts are accurate including new launches, base, promo and feature activity
* Work with the category team to develop engaging sell-in stories for new products and ranging and distribution opportunities
* Internal reporting on performance vs. forecast with clear actionable insights
* Your role is key in supporting the grocery team in delivering the annual plans.
* Working with a small team you will work across all business functions, operations, finance, marketing, customer service and NPD to deliver key grocery targets.
About You
To help us to achieve our continual growth plans we are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised individual to work within our Grocery sales team. You’ll report into, and work closely with our Senior National Account Manager.
Alongside our values of Team Spirt, Openness and Passionate the most important things we’re looking for from you are:
* Educated to degree level
* 2+ years Account Management Experience dealing with FMCG buyers
* Results orientated and able to deliver account/channel targets
* Numerate, understanding of P&L’s and margins with good attention to detail
* Strong selling skills to win/influence buyers and internal teams
* Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills
* Great relationship builder
* Strong team player
* Great fit for the team
