Join our Engineering Development team and contribute to a cutting-edge food manufacturing operation—where much of the equipment is bespoke, designed, and built in-house. What We’re Looking For: A talented engineer with a minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, eager to expand their technical expertise. Strong experience in PLC programming and fault diagnosis, ideally with Siemens and Schneider systems (others considered). A problem solver who enjoys taking projects from concept to completion. Mechanical knowledge within the FMCG sector, particularly in a food manufacturing environment, would be highly beneficial. Understanding how PLC software integrates with mechanical processes is a major advantage. Someone with experience in the food or processing industry is preferred, though not essential. SCADA and functional safety design knowledge would also be beneficial. A flexible and proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced setting. What You’ll Be Doing: Developing expertise in Siemens and Schneider PLCs. Providing technical leadership and programming expertise to enhance processes and drive innovation. Supporting continuous improvement and new development projects. Managing multiple projects that improve technology, automation, and efficiency. Working closely with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration between PLC software and mechanical systems in an FMCG production environment. Taking ownership of your work and delivering results in collaboration with internal teams and contractors.
