Our international finance client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their busy team. Ideally you will be experienced with Trade Credit Insurance, either in the UK or internationally. OBJECTIVES : To deliver new business sales to meet individual target Sell Debt Collection Services to large corporate/ Enterprise business across all viable sectors in the UK Develop a network of introducers to provide new business leads Work closely with their offices globally to support global deals Work with colleagues across other service lines to secure new contracts To work closely with the “Administrative” teams to ensure a timely and efficient service to prospects and clients Key Tasks and Responsibilities : Delivery of budgeted targets for new debt placement Generate and follow up leads and appointments through networking and proactive prospecting as well as using marketing resources Update and maintain the CRM system Manage relationships with prospects, introducers and stakeholders Do full KYC (know your customer) and UBO (ultimate beneficial owner) checks on all prospects moving to contract Present your pipeline and forecast bi-weekly to your manager time confirm achievement of targets SPECIALIST SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Proven ability to work in a face paced global business Proven experience of working in a sales role with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets Autonomous: able to self-motivate and focus on goals and activities while working on one’s own Experience of lead generation Sales negotiation and communication skills Able to build rapport and long term relationships with internal stakeholders and clients to build productive networks Prioritisation: determines the importance of each task and allocates time accordingly In depth familiarity and knowledge of various contract structures in order to provide a consultative solution Knowledge of current economic climate and how it affects the market SYSTEMS KNOWLEDGE Microsoft Outlook Microsoft.
