As the Technical Assistant will be working within a business that produces great products, working within a supportive team on a daily basis whilst working autonomously, liaising with stakeholders in the business and a true advocate of high quality and service levels.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Solid and effective technical support, QA, production and lab submissions
Managing and completion of internal and external audit schedules
Analysing KPI’s, trending and corrective actions
Good working knowledge raw materials, supplier engagement, BRC& HACCP
Supporting with non-conformances, investigations and corrective actions
Keeping up to date knowledge of current food safety requirements and compliance
The successful individual will have current UK Food manufacturing experience, minimum HACCP Level 2, awareness of BRC and previous experience as a QA will be an advantage.
The ability to adapt quickly to the ever changing environment and deadlines of the food industry.
In addition good communication skills from colleagues to clients.
