An exciting opportunity has arisen within the SEND department for a SEND Manager with either responsibility for KS3 or KS4.
The successful colleague will work alongside the SENDCo, Deputy SENDCo and alternative Key Stage Manager to ensure best outcomes for students with SEND. Some key responsibilities will include managing the Key Stage SEND teams, being a key link across Inclusion Services and communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and professionals.
Additionally, this post holder will have shared responsibility for Key Stage statutory documentation to maintain, track, and improve current levels of provision and secure funding for students through a robust graduated approach.
A professional demeanor will be expected with multi-agency professionals as well as commitment to the implementation of their recommendations across the curriculum. The successful colleague should be willing to develop their knowledge and skill set through regular training opportunities and meetings with the SENDCo and other senior inclusion colleagues.
