Overall purpose:
To lead a team in providing support and personal care to people who have physical and/or learning difficulties to live in their own homes. To support the Team Leader in delivering a quality service throughout supported living while promoting Diverse Abilities in a positive manner and participating in community events.

This role involves:
1. Managing the service and working within the overall framework of Diverse Abilities Policies and Procedures, Commissioning and CQC Standards and all legal requirements.
2. Being the main contact working with the service for the Team Leader.
3. Liaising with the Team Leader regarding the person we support and staffing.
4. Working independently and using your own initiative, seeking advice/support from your Team Leader when necessary.
5. Working in partnership and promoting positive relationships with families, friends, and other professionals, representing Diverse Abilities in a professional manner.
6. Attending all Team meetings, which is mandatory; the agenda will include important communications and on occasions training for the service.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Diploma Level 3/4 or equivalent (or willing to work towards this).
2. Basic numeracy and literacy.
3. Full UK Manual Driver's License.
4. Interpersonal Skills.
5. Clear Communication.
6. Person-centred approach.
7. Pro-active.
8. Self-management.
9. Initiative.
