Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for three highly motivated individuals to fulfill the posts of Deputy Divisional Director, Nursing, Midwifery, AHP within the Divisions of Surgery and Diagnostics and Medicine, Community and Therapy, at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will have experience of leading nursing, clinical services and Trust wide initiatives. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully leading clinical teams, working collaboratively, managing change and putting safety, quality and patient experience at the heart of everything you do.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work within the Division supporting the Divisional Triumvirate Teams to effectively discharge their duties. You will be expected to be highly visible across the directorates supporting the division to deliver against the Nursing, Midwifery, AHP and HCS objectives. In addition, you will play a vital role in creating, embedding and monitoring effective processes within the directorate ensuring that high quality, effective, harm free care is delivered and excellence in patient experience is achieved.
The post holder will work in line with agreed objectives reflecting the targets, quality standards, resource controls and constraints and will contribute to delivering high quality, safe and effective patient services across the organisation. The Deputy Divisional Director of Nursing will work in partnership with the Divisional and Directorate triumvirate to provide senior clinical leadership and a clear communication structure for teams across the division.
The post holder will ensure that all patients are treated with compassion, dignity and respect placing value on the diversity of the local community and beyond.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse/ Midwife/ AHP with the NMC/HCPC
* In-depth knowledge in a number of management disciplines acquired through training and Masters degree level or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
* Evidence of post graduate CPD.
Experience/Knowledge
* Evidence of developing patient pathways, developing systems and processes to minimise patient harm.
* Significant experience at Matron/ PSL level or equivalent
* Evidence of leading clinical teams
* Ability to write papers and present at sub-board level.
* Knowledge of the structure and workings of the NHS and associated partners
* Record of significant achievements at a senior level
* Successful delivery of significant organisational change
* Evidence of a track record in change management
* Experience of service improvement methodologies & delivery
* Evidence of experience of staff management, financial control and performance management
* Evidence of leading complex service transformation.
* Experience of working in on-call rota
* Proven track record of successful and sustained management in an NHS Foundation Trust or similar organisation
* Experience of works at senior level within a complex related organisation
