We are recruiting for a temporary E-Billing Assistant to join our Finance team in Bristol.
The successful candidate will sit within the wider Finance department, as part of the Billing team, and will have responsibility for managing around 40 clients and their respective billing platforms. You will be the point of contact between the Fee Earners creating the bills and the credit control team. This is a newly created role and will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to significantly reduce the aged Debt on our E-Billing ledger.
Your Role
* To independently check the platforms regularly and correct any billing issues.
* To take ownership of your ledger of aged invoices and successfully obtain payment approval.
* To effectively use a wide range of client portals to input and review outstanding invoices.
* Attend weekly meetings with the Billing Supervisor & Credit Control supervisor to assist with resolving aged debt issues.
* Ensure files are correctly set-up and all relevant information is obtained for e-Billing purposes.
* Create weekly reports using the firm's in-house systems.
* Be the point of contact for client on-boarding.
* Take ownership of managing the portal data management record, ensuring all data is current and relevant.

* Demonstrate experience of working in a similar high volume role using billing platforms either within an e-billing department or credit control department.
