Job Description:
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Teacher of Religious Education to join our supportive RE department in a faith school with a strong community ethos in Hillingdon. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in April 2025.

Role Responsibilities:
1. Teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to teach at Key Stage 5 based on experience and interest.
2. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons catering to diverse learning styles.
3. Utilize various teaching methods, including discussions, debates, guest speakers, and visits to places of worship.
4. Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback.
5. Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation to keep the RE curriculum relevant and challenging.
6. Encourage appreciation of different religions and worldviews, fostering respect and tolerance.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive learning environment.
8. Participate in professional development to stay updated in RE education.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS or equivalent qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education.
* Passionate about teaching RE and committed to student success.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Ability to build rapport and foster an inclusive environment.
* Understanding of the National Curriculum for RE.
* Committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
