About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Void Surveyor to join our team, working with a leading Property Services Contractor on social housing void projects in and around Harrow. If you have experience in property surveying and a passion for delivering high:quality service in the social housing sector, this opportunity is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed surveys of void properties to assess condition and necessary repair works.
* Prepare comprehensive schedules of work and cost estimates for void refurbishment.
* Collaborate with contractors and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery and completion within budget and timeframes.
* Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations and are carried out to a high standard.
* Liaise with tenants, housing officers, and other stakeholders to manage expectations and communication effectively.
* Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar Void Surveyor role, ideally within social housing or property services.
* Strong knowledge of building construction, maintenance, and refurbishment.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across Harrow and nearby areas.
