A world’s leading aircraft manufacturer, has an exciting opportunity to join the Wing Analysis Engineering Team working with the Plant Engineering Team.
The plant delivers wings for nearly half of all aircraft worldwide annually. It is a great opportunity to join an expanding team as demand increases.
Role Overview
As a Stress Engineer within the Broughton Wing Plant Engineering Team (PET), you will work alongside our experienced stress analysts to ensure the integrity and performance of wing structures.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct static structural analysis for metallic and composite components.
* Analyse and validate metallic, composite, and hybrid structures at a component level for static strength and fatigue & damage tolerance (F&DT).
* Produce strength margins or reserve factors in accordance with validated Airbus methods and sizing processes.
* Provide stress analyses for the repair and acceptance of metallic, composite, and hybrid structures.
* Ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.
Skills & Qualifications
* Previous T400 Concessions Approval (preferred).
* Airbus is open to candidates who do not hold approval but have relevant stress and/or concessions experience.
* Experience with other aircraft types, military aircraft, or related product knowledge is highly desirable
