An SEMH secondary school in Leyland is seeking a dynamic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team. This role involves delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
About the Role:
Position: PSHE/Citizenship Cover Supervisor
Location: Leyland
Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
Contract: Full-time, until the end of the academic year (July 2024)
Hours: Term-time only
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-set PSHE and Citizenship lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
Support and engage SEMH secondary-aged students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Manage classroom behavior effectively and uphold school policies.
Encourage the personal and social development of students.

Experience working with young people in an educational or support role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Confidence to lead and manage a classroom.
A passion for supporting students with SEMH needs.
