We are partnering with a global facilities management and workplace services company to recruit a dynamic and driven Senior Commercial Manager.
Role Overview
As Senior Commercial Manager, you will lead the delivery of commercially sound and competitive pricing on new bids and contract retentions to support the growth of the business. You will be responsible for leading the pricing workstream on complex bids, working collaboratively with the Bid team, suppliers and other SMEs to develop winning submissions and identifying commercial opportunities and risks throughout the process.
Consistently seeking innovative pricing solutions, providing a commercial check and challenge to the solution design process and subcontractor quotations whilst supporting the Head of Commercial Pricing in the compliance to standards, policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for the end-to-end production of commercially sound pricing solutions which reflects the RFP and Contract requirements, taking into consideration identified risks and opportunities for all types of bids including those that are large and complex or with complex commercial models.
* Provide commercial pricing solutions on small and medium-sized opportunities, as well as leading on larger, complex bids under supervision of Head of Commercial Pricing.
* Present analysis of pricing solutions from the subcontractor, closing any potential gaps and negotiating for a competitive price.
* Providing pricing analysis insights and scenario modelling to explore and present commercial options to senior management, internal and external stakeholders.
* Working collaboratively with the work winning team and other business functions in developing winning solutions.
* Good understanding of different commercial models.
* Support the requirement of maintaining detailed benchmarking data for internal and external use.
* Responsible for managing global benchmarking data to allow this to be used when benchmarking pricing on opportunities.
* Provides seamless knowledge transfer from bid to account teams and undertake mentoring and support for further identification of risks and opportunities by the account management teams.
* Support on client presentations.

* Experience in commercial pricing and understanding of different commercial models.
* Ability to construct/modify financial model to accommodate different needs.
* Digitally competent especially advanced excel skills.
* Influencing and negotiation skills.
* An effective communicator with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Problem solving and analytical skills.
* Good understanding of FM-compliant standards like SFG 20.
