In this Head of Finance role, you will:
1. Oversee financial operations for both primary and secondary schools, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.
2. Manage the preparation of management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
3. Take full responsibility for budgeting, including planning, monitoring, and reporting.
4. Lead and mentor a team of eight finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
5. Support strategic decision-making processes by providing financial insights and analysis to the CFO.

7. Ideally, have experience in financial management within the education sector, though candidates from other sectors are strongly encouraged to apply.
8. Have line management experience overseeing one or two direct reports and be prepared to lead a larger team.
9. Potentially come from a multi-academy trust background in a Management Accountant or Finance Manager role, seeking to take on greater responsibilities.
