As our Field Training Audiologist, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer by delivering demonstrably the best training and support in the industry for our internal and external customers of our hearing care business division, GN Hearing, across the UK and Benelux regions.
The team you will be part of:
At our office located in Bicester, UK, you will be part of our Audiology Training Team, as part of our Sales Region Northern Europe, and report directly to the Head of Training, Katie Ogden. The team exemplifies an eager, forward-looking, and potent approach, undeniably making a significant contribution to the organization and providing assistance for our customers' progression.
In this role, you are expected to innovate and develop training materials and methods targeting specific customer training needs, also sharing content and best practice materials with other team members. As this is a field-based position, you are also expected to be on the road approximately 4 days a week, traveling to the wider parts of the UK and the Benelux regions as needed.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
* Develop, deliver and conduct training programs for our internal and external customers – incl. hearing care professionals – on our Resound products and services to various sizes of groups (typically around 25 people or more) via various formats (including webinars and video).
* Develop and deliver educational materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources.
* Provide on-site and remote support to address technical and clinical inquiries.
* Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify training needs and opportunities – as well as support the teams with product launches.
* Support Customer Care with product queries and technical support as and when required.
* Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
* Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
We imagine that there are several ways to succeed in the role, where the following background and experiences are advantageous:
* Relevant higher educational background within audiology or other relevant fields of studies.
* Some years of relevant experience from a similar position within the hearing aid industry.
* Computer skills and proficiency using PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SFDC, and Excel.
* Interpersonal communication skills, including communicating with multiple levels of the organization, building credibility and trust with all partners.
* Collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) to determine learning needs and the best delivery approach, particularly adhering to adult learning principles for all training.
* Presentation skills and experience of presenting to groups of people of varying sizes with an enthusiasm for training and educating others.
* Proficient with oral and written communication in English, as you will work in a global work environment and with local UK-based clients.
* Skills in problem-solving and handling intricate matters, emphasizing attention to detail and systematic approaches.
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with the ability to deal with ambiguity and competing priorities, whereby you can effectively prioritize and balance diverse work schedule and demonstrates ability to be highly organized and manage time effectively.
* Ability to travel to various client locations within the UK and the Benelux regions.
Advantageous experience, but not prerequisites for the position:
* Sales experience from both the private and public sectors within the hearing aid industry.
* Experience of learning program design and implementation; including knowledge of Adult Learning Theory with experience in application of Adult Learning Principles.
