Remote Field Based role - UK-wide (Midlands preferred)
Join a leading European manufacturer of precision components as a Business Development Manager. This is a dynamic field sales role focused on new business development, where you will leverage marketing leads and your own sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities as Business Development Manager, Engineering
* Sell precision components directly to large end users and via distributors to smaller clients.
* Engage with OEMs and design engineers at the specification level.
* Work with diverse clients across scientific instrumentation, F1 teams, industrial manufacturing, medical devices, and aerospace.
What You Need
* Proven technical field sales experience in engineering or industrial components. Ideal backgrounds would be pumps, seals, valves, pipes, hose systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, flanges, filtration, gauges, sensors, flow meters, couplings, unions, manifolds, regulators, heat exchangers, tubing, clamps, gaskets, O-Rings, controllers, etc.
* Your sales ability is of utmost importance over your technical ability. You will have Application Engineers and highly technical staff to support you.
* Confident, personable, and enthusiastic with a consultative sales approach.
* Excellent communicator and negotiator, comfortable engaging at all levels.
* Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-evolving sector.
