In the Gas Compliance Team, you can make a real difference, the role of Gas Inspector will involve: Taking ownership and responsibility for delivering a consistently high level of service within your team and across the business as a whole. Visiting customers' homes to carry out inspections for completed work, requests for repairs and improvements Providing clear and effective leadership to the managers of both the gas and electric teams Ensuring effective management of contractors to ensure compliance with contract, regulation and legislation applicable to the organisation's residential stock Owning responsibility for management and delivery of robust servicing, maintenance and repair contracts including monitoring of budgets Ensuring that all policies and procedures are reviewed and updated regularly As a Gas Inspector we need you to have: Ability to demonstrate commitment to excellent customer services in all activities Experience of working with customers internally and externally and partner agencies, to support the delivery of the business Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing Ability to organise, prioritise and manage own workload IT skills to input and retrieve data, produce statistical information and analysis Be innovative to improve and maintain customer service A wide range of ACS qualifications and detailed knowledge of gas legislation/regulation Full Driving Licence We would be really excited if you have: Knowledge and experience of contract monitoring in gas areas relevant to the role (e.g. gas/electrical safety, mechanical, engineering) Experience in gas auditing/quality inspections We will be an employer of choice and invest in our people To deliver the best services for our customers we need employees who are passionate, committed and engaged.
