We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Lead to join our Cumberland Care Review Team. Cumberland Care has embarked on an ambitious review programme to ensure that our services continue to provide sustainable, high-quality care and that there is appropriate provision of the right size and shape to meet the demands of our residents now and in the future. As a pivotal figure within the team, you'll be instrumental in shaping the landscape of Residential, Reablement, Disability, Mental Health and Community services across Cumberland.
As the Business Development Lead you will support the Senior Management Team to deliver the Cumberland Care Review Programme and lead on various service development and change projects within the overall programme of work. You will need to be a collaborative programme management expert taking the lead on thematic delivery strands, engaging other internal and external colleagues in the process to support the development and implementation of key service changes.
You will have an excellent understanding and experience of governance, decision making and change management requirements within a large organisation. We operate a business partnership model at Cumberland Council and your role will involve directing a wider project team consisting of other professionals, subject experts and project managers from the Programme Management Office.
This is a high profile role within the Adult Social Care & Housing Directorate and will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside a range of people, both within Cumberland Council and from other agencies (such as the NHS) at a leadership level. We are looking for an innovative and creative individual with skills, knowledge, and experience in delivering/managing projects, influencing change and designing effective services who wants to make a difference. You will need to be an effective communicator with experience in a business or commercial environment, be able to understand and interpret data and deliver outcomes.
