QMU is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join the Information Technology team. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact projects that support the university's strategic goals and enhance digital transformation. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of IT and business-related projects, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of initiatives on time, within scope, and to budget.,
* Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring alignment with the university's strategic objectives.
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Coordinate cross-departmental teams and third-party suppliers to deliver project outcomes.
* Conduct risk management and develop mitigation plans.
* Support business process improvement initiatives and assist in defining system requirements.
* Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
* Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and governance standards.
* Project portfolio planning and progress reporting to senior management
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven professional with a strong background in project management., Proven experience managing IT projects in a complex organisation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
* A customer-focused approach to service delivery
