Our client is a respected organisation in the not-for-profit sector, employing over 1000 people. With a strong commitment to social impact, they operate across the UK, with their Accounting and Finance department based in Bristol.
Description
Working within the FP&A function; your role will be to provide stakeholders with accurate, timely and comprehensive financial information through expert modelling and analytical acumen. Broken into 3 key branches, your responsibilities will be:
Financial Planning
1. Consolidate multiple financial planning models and reporting suites onto the planning software.
2. Redesign the finance planning process and workings to deliver efficiencies, enabling a faster turnaround of the corporate financial planning cycle.
3. Enhance current analysis to provide senior management with insights into key balance sheet ratios, funding projections and information for investor relations.
Financial Analysis
1. Develop a robust and automated variance analysis process, monitoring and calculating variance to plan and financial performance.
2. Provide expert analytical and modelling support across the broader finance teams.
Pricing
1. Support the development of a 'pricing underwriting model' to compare priced values against results and forecasts. This will be used to find key variances by product for the Pricing Policy Committee.
Profile
A successful Interim Senior FP&A Analyst should have:
1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
2. Proven financial modelling experience
3. In-depth working knowledge of financial planning software (preferably VENA)
4. Experience of OAS/Power BI
