Here at Morrisons our Accuracy Checking Technicians (ACTs) are responsible for:
1. Providing final accuracy checks on medication that has been clinically checked by the Pharmacist
2. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with GPhC expectations
3. Making sure patients receive friendly, confidential and attentive service
4. Labelling and dispensing of Prescription Only Medicines (POMs)
5. The safe handout of prescriptions in line with pharmacy procedures
6. Helping resolve surgery queries
7. Reporting dispensing errors and near misses
8. Supporting (and helping control) Over The Counter (OTC) sales
9. Delivering a range of Pharmacy Services
10. Supporting the Pharmacy Team and Manager with the delivery of agreed KPIs

About You
Youll be the kind of person who has:
11. Completed an approved Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant course ( NPA DAC)
12. Completed (or be committed to enrol on) an approved Pharmacy Technician / Accuracy Checking course ( BTEC Diploma Level 3 in the Principles & Practice for Pharmacy Technicians - including ACT competency)
13. Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), once qualified
14. Care and compassion for customers and is always helpful
15. Enthusiasm and commitment to deliver pharmacy services and KPIs
16. Ability to use own initiative to help resolution of customer queries
17. Comfortable working shifts and weekends where required
