Job Description
* Manage and deliver capital and revenue projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
* Oversee the capital project budgets, ensuring alignment with the Head of Capital Projects and financial regulations.
* Lead and motivate a team of capital professionals to meet project deadlines.
* Implement and maintain robust systems and processes for project management.
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting on all project progress.
* Prioritise and plan the annual work schedule for the team and areas of responsibility.
* Identify cost improvements and service efficiencies to enhance operations.
* Mitigate and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree-level education and membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS).
* Extensive experience in construction technology, project management, and design across a range of projects.
* Proven experience managing complex projects in occupied buildings.
* Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing capital projects and teams.
* A deep understanding of Building Bulletins, DfE 24 standards, and how they impact project proposals.
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
