Our client, based in the Bury area, are looking to recruit an Payroll Administrator to work in their very busy Payroll Bureau on a temporary basis for 1-2 months starting January 2025. Working independently on multiple weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who value their staff and customers.
The duties of this Payroll Administrator role will include:
Processing payroll using Sage Payroll for a number of clients of varying sizes
Processing RTI requirements
Chasing clients for payroll, pension and CIS monthly return information
Providing clients with payroll reports, payslips, and PDS
Processing SSP, SMP, SPP, Student Loans and other deductions
Assisting with Payroll year end processing
Dealing with payroll queries
Informing clients of changes to regulations in relation to payroll
General ad hoc duties as required
The successful candidate for this Payroll Administrator role will possess:
Previous relevant experience of running multiple payrolls in a Bureau environment
Knowledge of Payroll legislation and regulations
Knowledge of Sage Payroll
Knowledge of MS Excel and Word
Good communication skills and able to build lasting relationships
Candidates must have a exceptional attention to detail
Be able to manage own workloads and be able to prioritise and multitask
In return, this role is offered on a full time (37 hours per week), temporary basis for 1-2 months with a competitive rate of pay.
